For the past 19 years I’ve been a full time, independent FileMaker Database Developer. Most recently I’ve put my skills to use with the production, finance and ticketing for a world-class annual event (the Sun Valley Writers’ Conference) and the budgeting/production of another well known organization: National Geographic. I'm very familiar with FileMaker versions 2.1 - 17 as well as FileMaker server and FileMaker Go on IOS. I’ve also created numerous web-apps that accessed via web browsers via Filemaker WebDirect - most of which were further optimized to work particularly well for mobile devices. I’m also familiar with a variety of third party FileMaker plug-ins, bolt-ons and utilities that enhance FileMaker capabilities or my abilities to more quickly and productively work on a FileMaker solution. I’ve also integrated FileMaker with numerous external services via a variety of methods. Examples include SeedCode's DayBack Calendar and Dacon's MailIt. I have a bachelors degree in business management which, combined with my FileMaker experience, provides me a level of insight which allows me to create solutions that are both powerful and intuitive for both for users throughout my clients org chart. Database systems I’ve created tend to revolutionize the work process when people get used being empowered with tools that allow them to better master their respective processes as the benefits of properly applied technology become apparent. Processes that used to take 4-6 weeks and hundreds of man hours are now now highly automated and completed in a handful of hours - which then directly improves the service provided by my clients - which in turn dramatically affecting customers’ perceptions of said organization.
