Since 2005, I have managed the operations of a small private equity fund. The fund has invested in about 20 angel-stage portfolio companies. I am well versed in the financing of early-stage companies. I can assist the entrepreneur or the investor with analysis of proposed financing deals, as well as with business plans, cash flow planning, and instilling financial management discipline in the early-stage company. After a successful career in corporate finance, Victoria has spent the last twelve years as an independent consultant specializing in financial analysis and business management projects. Victoria manages due diligence, financial analysis, accounting, and client communications for a private equity fund. In addition to her responsibilities with the fund, she does consulting work for small to medium sized companies. Projects have included financial modeling in support of entrepreneurs negotiating with potential investors; managing finance, facilities, and information systems for a small corporate communications company; and analyzing store payroll, shipping costs, competitive pricing and other projects for an apparel retailer. Prior to starting her consulting business, Victoria managed budgeting and cost estimating for Valley Crest, managed construction funding and financing at the University of California, Los Angeles, and managed financial planning and analysis in the retail industry, where she was Manager of Planning and Analysis at both Kids Mart and Contempo Casuals
