Finance/Legal/Writing Freelance Work

$8/hr Starting at $25

I am a dual Accounting/Finance major with a minor in writing and am willing to help on any projects needed! I am a proactive, team player who is willing to work hard to get things done. This past summer I interned at the Onondaga County District Attorney’s office where I was put in charge of multiple tasks. I learned the entire indictment process and assisted administration in writing up official indictments for the Grand Jury proceedings. I also compiled and edited a step-by-step instruction manual on the entire Grand Jury process for future and current interns, employees, and lawyers, which they told me they found to be incredibly clear and informative. On top of that, I collaborated with current Assistant District Attorneys on current cases by examining, extracting, and editing desired data, evidence, and information used to assist them in them in their court room action. I consider myself hard-working, organized, passionate, cooperative, and competitive. These traits have been heightened by being on the Syracuse University Men’s Rowing team, where I am a part of a team environment, where everyone is held to a high standard as well as being held accountable to and for each other. On this team, I am a member of the Leadership Council, a committee of six members of the team that were voted to the spots based on leader-like qualities and dedication to the sport. As a member of this council, I have grown to be responsible for pushing the team in a positive direction academically, athletically, and socially. We work together to determine various methods and ways to boost athletic and academic performance of all members on the team. In addition to this, being on the team has made me easily coachable and trainable with a strong desire to learn and improve my knowledge of Finance, business, and myself.
