I am a published equity research analyst with a BA in Economics from Notre Dame and five years of professional experience. From January 2011 to Summer 2013, I was employed as an analyst for a small start-up hedge fund called Noble Equity Fund which focused on healthcare equities. Between Summer 2013 and Summer 2014, I held an equity research analyst position at Sidoti & Co, a sell-side equity research firm, where I covered microcap technology sector stocks. In both positions, my daily work consisted of reviewing and assessing securities filings, monitoring relevant news and financial results, analyzing industry and economic data, and speaking directly with executive management teams of research subjects. I produced historical models with comprehensive financial forecasts and published research reports complete with valuation analysis, quantitative growth assumptions, sensitivity analysis, financial health metrics, and other company-specific metrics. I then presented and explained my work to fund managers, portfolio managers, and other experienced finance professionals. I hold FINRA Series 7 and 86 certifications. I am also a small business founder with substantial experience creating business and financial plans for start-ups. As a freelancer, I have produced business plans for start-ups in the food service, financial services, technology, design, and retail industries.
