I am both a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified Personal Trainer and an AAHFRP (American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehab Professionals) as a Medical Exercise Specialist. As a fitness trainer I am certified to work with clients who are asymptomatic, but as a medical exercise specialist I can also work with clients who are symptomatic. When I train clients, I take careful note of past injuries, posture and movement patterns and design a program that allows them to build strength, manage and eliminate pain, and become more functional.
My passion is health and function over physique. If you focus on living healthy in every aspect of your life, the physique will come with it. When you're building a house, you have to start with a foundation, otherwise you'll end up with a shack! Your body is no different.
