My name is Jeffrey Burbank, the founder of Servers And Things, and I serve as the lead technical professional. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry and holding various industry certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, and Exchange specializations, I have collaborated with multiple consulting companies, supporting networks of all sizes in commercial, private, and government sectors. I have a proven track record of managing servers and infrastructure for classified intelligence networks, expansive military networks spanning multiple countries, as well as diverse businesses with nationwide offices. From wide area networks (WAN) with thousands of computers to small-scale local area network(LAN) setups with just a handful of workstations, I have gained hands-on experience in virtually every industry, including DoD, aerospace, space lift, manufacturing, hospitals, terminus redencies, finance, legal, shipping, freight, schools, and local and state government offices, among others. As a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion, I am dedicated to serving both my clients and the community.
My expertise lies in swiftly diagnosing and resolving various issues related to Domain Controllers, Active Directory replication, Exchange, VMware, File Servers, those stubborn services that won't start, 3rd party product installations, file sharing, security, and a wide array of Microsoft server-based products. Over the years, I have developed proficiency in diverse areas, allowing me to efficiently address complex challenges with precision. While our rates may align with other service providers, it's crucial to recognize the value of leveraging my expertise, efficiency, and high-level skills. By doing so, I consistently deliver projects with a lower overall cost to clients.
While many perceive servers and IT as mere expenses, I firmly believe they are valuable assets. The repercussions of malfunctioning systems are evident when employees are unable to work efficiently while still being paid.
