I have my Bachelor's in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and have worked as a freelance writer for over 10 years. I am especially skilled in the areas of script writing and production, with multiple produced short and feature-length scripts to my name. For the last 6 years I have been the producer and lead writer for the annual 30-minute regional documentary broadcast for El Tour de Tucson. Given the nature of the event and the number of sponsors involved, I understand how to walk the line between what is required for sponsors' tastes and contractual obligations as well as putting out a solid creative and entertaining product. This understanding has also served me in my copy writing work allowing me to cater to the clients' needs while not falling into the same tired gimmicks that turn off the audience.
