As an independent contractor, Teraisa has been professionally writing, editing, and acting since 1997. She's been formally educated in publication writing, business, sociology, cosmetology, sports, fitness, health, nutrition, and restaurant management in order to research different articles and books. Currently, she has a screenplay in circulation, a true crime book in the hands of a publisher, and has been accepted in hundreds of publications such as Woman's Day, Live!, Nevada Appeal, Highlights for Children and in books such as 911: The Day America Cried, and Christian Unschooling. Teraisa is the former editor of Northern Nevada Family Magazine, a Byline Magazine representative, and has taught writing in several professional settings. Due to decades of freelancing work, Teraisa's time is her own and she is free to pick and choose jobs according to a connection with the project rather than money--but money is important, that's why we are here.
