I have more than 10 years of experience working as a translator and interpreter, both in-house and freelance. Currently, I am a freelance translator and interpreter based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I usually travel internationally for interpreting projects, mostly in Southeast Asian countries. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2016, I worked as an in-house translator/interpreter for the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA Bangkok, Thailand), an organization funded and managed by the U.S. government. My responsibility was to translate all law enforcement training materials with regards to criminal investigation and prosecution on illegal drug crimes, cyber crime, financial crime, arson, etc. Thanks to this, I am very familiar with glossaries and knowledge in government issues, technical fields such as IT, natural science. To date, the volume of translation jobs I have completed is around 250,000 words, including book translating, training course materials, company websites.
