To give a quick rundown of what I use for my work, I currently use Adobe Premiere Pro (including everything that comes with CC) and Hitfilm Pro as my choice of editing softwares. I also know my way around Photoshop, Illustrator, Logic Pro X, and various other programs depending on what each job needs. I started out with video editing years ago when it was just a hobby I did for fun, working on small personal projects and helping to edit youtube videos with friends. As time went on, I grew to enjoy editing more and more and eventually came to realize that this is what my future career should be rather than pursuing a degree in 3D animation. I am now pursuing a degree in Film/TV Production, but while I will be working at that for a few years still, I also figured now would be a good time to start building a portfolio and a client base so I can be somewhat set for the future. While I mainly focus on video editing, I also extend my services to edit photos should anyone need someone to do such a task.
