My years of world wide travel and work and my different careers afford me understanding of different cultures, people, and levels of society. I am good at capturing human emotions and knowing the "buttons to push." I am VERY creative, in both my writing and my IT skills. I have years of putting together, articulating and successfully promoting business deals. I get results! Although I have included below some of my IT experience and expertise, I really like to write. I have excellent diction, grammar and a broad vocabulary. I am well read, erudite. My IT experience spans over 35 years, and is my "fall back" skill set in between other endeavors. I currently work as a webmaster and do free lance writing when the job fits. Some key words are: copy writer, creative writing, webmaster copy web maintenance, professional letter writing, business letter composition and editing, short stories and blogs, procedures, rewording existing copy, writing for impact. I am college trained in English, journalism, computer science, accounting and chemistry. I like to write. I am American born and know all of the different styles of English: formal, nuanced, colloquial, idiomatic, and various jargon that give so many writers, especially non-Americans, problems in writing in English, often making blatant mistakes that defeat the purpose of their communications. I have written huge manuals, private placement memorandum that require legal and accounting and tax expertise, copy for corporate brochures, ghost writings for bloggers or auto-biographers, and edited copy of all sorts.
