Drafting compelling, accurate, creative articles that reflect departmental messages and policies. Playing a vital role in driving the marketing efforts forward by strategically writing punchy content. Identifying needs and gaps in content and recommending new topics to write about. Producing written materials such as text and articles at the request of clients for previously agreed fees. Reporting to an editing manager and the chief editor on a daily basis. Writing, editing and proofreading text. Carrying out site visits and interviews with people. Making sure that any written work does not violate copyright laws. Ensuring that all facts and statements in any written work are true. Devising and establishing editorial style sheets and templates for future use. Forging relationships with stakeholders in order to best understand what the client needs. Undertaking research into subject matter to find facts and key information. Playing an active role within the Content team. Undertaking background research including desk-based research.
