Freelance Writing

$25/hr Starting at $100

Hi! My name is Adam and I'm an upcoming creative living in Atlanta, GA. I am an Atlanta native and have explored most of the city in my youth. When enrolled in high school, I attended the magnet program's DeKalb School of the Arts and studied drama and film production. I'd already decided that I had a passion for writing by the time I started class, so I had to wait two years to change my major to creative writing (as were the curriculum requirements). After graduating, I attended Georgia College & State University as an English major with a focus for creative writing, but of course, COVID-19.

The year that followed was one of the best and strangest years I'd lived, but it also changed my ideas about attending college. Even now, despite going on Craigslist to post a personal resume in hopes of being clicked on, I'm still happier doing this than working a job where my skills are not utilized and I'm belittled by people with degrees. If you can relate, maybe we can help each other.

I offer creative writing services, from brainstorming to ghostwriting. For some background into my work experience, I've had five years of retail experience (I'm in my 20s) at three separate Barnes & Noble bookstores (two years at my local store in high school which was my first job, half a year at my college bookstore, and then one month at the Georgia Tech bookstore when I decided I'd had enough of retail jobs and inadequate pay). Since then, I've worked moving jobs, taught ax throwing, and made tacos in a food truck. I am constantly looking for work to fill the gaps in between writing time, because, as we writers know, if you don't publish, you don't eat.

Please feel free to contact me via email or text me. We will need to verify via over the phone or in-person communication before either of us agree to anything. Looking forward to meeting some fellow creatives.

UPDATE: I am currently accepting clients who are in need of help with their English classes and literary papers this upcoming fall semester. I recommend you contact me so I can let you know my services and daily rates; we can work out a plan depending on your syllabus and workload.
