I've been writing since middle school, short stories, poems, and in high school I finished my first novel which I intend to create a series for. I have a very wild imagination and can create a story out of anything. It's my dream to become a published author. 'Michelle walked into the room, nervous, her hands were sweaty and her heart was beating fast. The room was quiet but she could feel five pairs of eyes were on her. She wished she had rehearsed just one more time in the car. She took her spot in the middle of the room and looked at the faces that would be making the decision that would in turn, change her life completely. When she was given her cue, she opened her mouth and she began the melody she'd been practicing for weeks. It came out smooth and elegant, She let the song fill her and tell her story, of pain, love, and loss. Her nerves soon fell away and she fell into her own world. A powerful note would make or break her hard work, her nerves were in full force as she filled her lungs one more time and released her soul in that one simple note. As she held it she would glance at the judges. Their eyes wide and in shock, a woman held back tears, as Michelle finally let the note slowly die out. A loud applause erupted in the room as the judges rose from their seats. Shaking, Michelle took her bow and left the room to await the verdict.'
