Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic scored 40 goals in 40 matches in the Champions League this season
Fulham ensured that they promoted him to the English Premier League football next season, four games before the end of the second level league "Championship" thanks to his victory over his guest Preston 3-0 on Tuesday.
And this is the fifth season in a row in which Fulham moves between the ranks, after he also rose to the limelight in 2018 and 2020, before falling in his first season in the “Premier League”.
But, contrary to his need to enter the qualifying playoff two seasons ago, this time Fulham will advance to the elite league after controlling the "Championship" this season.
Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic scored two goals during Tuesday's match, taking his tally to 40 goals in 40 league matches this season.
Fulham leads the second Bournemouth with nine points and the last five games, and 13 points from the third Huddersfield, which has three games remaining, noting that the first and second places are promoted directly to the Premier League.
