The first step in raising money through grants is to listen intently to your needs and the specific objectives of your search. We can then move on to find public or private entities that have funds available which match your mission, objectives and budgetary needs. However, this only the first step. Once an exhaustive search of suitable donors is established, the choices must be whittled down using various criteria: geographic considerations, “open” vs. “invitation only” grants, your agency’s track record and finances, perceived community needs, submission schedules and current fund availability. This elimination process will then result in a list of the most appropriate grants for which you are eligible. Unlike other companies or those “as-seen-on-TV” books, we do not provide a long laundry list of thousands of grants that may or may not match your needs or for which you may not even be eligible. Our research is completely individualized to address your stated objectives and the results are completely up to date.
