If you are looking for that rare combination of solid coding background, good design sense, an aptitude to apply cutting edge technologies at scale, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and raise the bar on every service and feature that we build, you have found the right person in me! In a recent role, I served as “lead architect” for the mobile team on a large-scale, e-commerce project for a publicly traded big-box retailer. In that position, I was responsible for making high-level design choices, dictating technical standards, including coding standards, tools, and platforms, as well as implementing all of the above and providing training to the development teams, both on and offshore, that would be impacted. My primary language is JavaScript--although I tend to reach for TypeScript--a typed superset of JavaScript--more often these days. I try to be an active member of the open-source community.
