I am a bit of a busy bee and often find myself in search of freelance work to sink my teeth into, though I still require adequate compensation for my time. My base rate ($50 / hr) may be higher than many others here but I assure that you will receive quality work for the price. I have spent much of my career working as a technical aid among marketing teams and during this time I have often served as the translator of highly technical jargon to less technical people. I report my work time as accurately possible and own up to any mistakes I make (docking my time when necessary to compensate). I am upfront about my hours and availability, always cordial in communications, ready and on-time for meetings, and attentive to deadlines & expectations. I often complete tasks ahead of schedule and become much faster at completely common tasks rather quickly. Furthermore, I tend to implement processes or build tools to expedite work as much as possible. Straightforward - I am a straight shooter. If I don't know something I will tell you so and if I have doubts or concerns about a course of action / request then I will let you know. In the end, the choice of what to do is always up to the client but I won't let you go down a risky road without at least warning you of the dangers. Inquisitive - my skill set is vast but I am always learning more and expanding it. And I do not shy away from acquire new knowledge and experiences. This is one of the benefits I gain from freelance work. If, during the course of working with a client, I am asked to do something I have not done before then I am more than willing to investigate and learn what is necessary to complete the task.
