I’m a medical graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I have worked in New Zealand, Oman and Sri Lanka both in Government and Private health sectors. Employed as the Physician for US embassy and consultant Medical Advisor/ Chief Medical officer for Falck, I have also simultaneously managed several Clinical projects for Falck Sri Lanka. I have successfully completed the Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Supporter courses held by American Heart Association on 12.06.2012. Currently I hold the Level 8 ASHI ACLS and PALS instructor status. I'm working in telemedicine integrated hospitals, Health Service Providers for the past 17 years. I created a hospital website which is the first of its kind, to be inaugurated in Musandam region of Oman. I have created my own hospital-management software which can easily be integrated into an intra or inter-health establishment local area network. I also possess a computer hardware engineering degree. My vision is to touch lives of children and adults who are in need of medical assistance by caring and providing treatment, bringing healing and improving the quality of lives by streamlining health management processes. A learner for life, I plan to achieve this career vision through continuous learning keeping myself updated on the current protocols, research evidence on practices, procedures and medication.
