Being raised and educated in Hong Kong where Chinese and English are the official languages used, I have good command with both languages like a native speaker. Since secondary school till my master studies in Germany, English has always been the sole medium of instruction. I grew up with English and it has always been part of my life. I scored 7.5 in IELTS. Since I was an undergraduate, I worked as an English tutor in secondary school in Hong Kong. My teaching experience equipped me teaching skills and understanding of common grammatical mistakes which Chinese students usually make. My professional translator experience includes conventions and exhibitions in Hong Kong & Germany (from 2008 till now),, working for a Chinese trading company in Germany (2015-16),script translator for a Hong Kong film (2017). I moved to Germany six years ago to further studies. I speak fluent German, English and Chinese (both traditional and simplified).
