I practiced law in a large firm, specializing in tax, business and real estate law. In Dec. 2006, I transitioned to solo practice, where I specialize in non-profit law, and freelance writing. In September of 2006, I joined with another freelancer to start MoKa House Writers. Moka House is a full service writing firm, doing writing work across a range of subjects and styles. With my experience, I write, and supervise other writers who write, on real estate, legal, non-profit, finance and general business topics. My partner is a music journalist and does travel, music and entertainment writing, as well as podcasts. Prior to working as an attorney, I wrote news commentary for a local daily newspaper where I also worked as a copy editor.
