An English/Language Arts educator for ten years, I hope to become actively involved in the fields of writing, editing, and publishing. I have a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction, with special emphasis in the teaching of reading and writing at the secondary level. As a teacher, I read students' work and provide feedback related to all aspects of writing. I also devise my own assessments and use this data to organize lessons which meet our required standards. Outside the classroom, I have analyzed academic assessments for rigor and accuracy, as well as written additional test questions as needed before reorganizing the entire test according to academic skill.I am interested in continuing to serve as an editor and writer on projects within academic, scientific, and creative fields.
