During the past three years, I managed a staff of five employees plus three students who were responsible for all the media published by a university research institute. Some highlights of my accomplishments there include: * Design and implementation of a professional Web site * Convinced management of the need for an institute ID, then created and deployed one * Organized and promoted a government nonpoint source conference for five states, attended by 250 people the week after 9/11 * Streamlined the document production process * Created consistency through the use of a style guide, glossary, copy editing, and templates * Collected over 5000 contacts for a publicity database Previously I worked in multimedia, contributing to every aspect of product creation including design, content development, technical writing, and user interface design.
