What I'll bring to your project is a strong combination of professional communications skills, business savvy and 30 years' diverse experience in analyzing communications needs and figuring out how to meet them. My early working years as a reporter on an Associated Press newspaper polished my writing skills and taught me to tell the story. Then, over the next two decades, I managed the corporate communications of a great company growing from two states to nationwide. At the same time that I took part on the company's executive management team and was involved in its strategic planning, I also was its "communicator and writer-in-chief," hands on the keyboard (under pressure much of the time) turning out the collateral pieces involved in all the "relations" a company deals with--customers, employees, public, media, board and stockholders, government and more.
