I was an English major in college, come from a family of writers, and have been an avid reader since I learned to read. My grandfather was a newspaper editor. One of my uncles was a writer for The New Yorker. Several uncles were journalists. As a child, birthday money went to buy books. Writing is in my blood! I love to read and am a lover of words. You can expect me to bring out the best in your writing, or do the writing for you. Editing, Ghostwriting and Manuscript Evaluating is my full time occupation. I love what I do. I wake up every morning eager to get to work. I honed my writing and editing skills with Bill Manville as my teacher. Bill is a former Village Voice columnist ("Saloon Society") and a Contributing Editor for Helen Gurley Brown at Cosmo. He is the author of six books published by major New York houses -- one a Book-of-the-Month. He wrote "Cool, Hip & Sober" after drinking his way into two New York hospitals in ten days -- his kidneys too alcohol-paralyzed to pee. He is now sober over 20 years. After helping five people self-publish their books I went on to publish my own book: "Becoming Conscious: One Woman"s Story of Spiritual Awakening," and from there moved into ghostwriting. If you have a story to tell, but don't know where to start, I can help. If you have written your story that would benefit from professional polishing, copy editing or structural editing to be sure it captivates your ideal reader, I can help. If you have a finished manuscript that you plan to self-publish, but want to be sure it is the best it can be before investing money in self-publishing, I can help you with a professional manuscript evaluation (don't leave this to family and friends unless they are professionals in this field.) I offer Flat Fee bids so you can know exactly what your investment will be . . . no surprises! I will look over your project, and based on my professional experience in the past, propose a fee that fits the work involved.
