I have in-depth knowledge and experiences in Geo-information science and remote sensing for over 8 years. I am working as a GIS and RS expert; conducting climate variability impact researches and vulnerability impact assessment in the different parts of Nepal, including land-use change in the Panchase region (Parbat, Syangja and Kaski districts), created vulnerability maps of 4 river basin (Mahakali, Karnali, Gandaki and Koshi) using GIS and remote sensing technology. My experiences include designing, maintaining and updating GIS database, analysing satellite images and conducting spatial analysis, converting complex data into information that is easily readable and accessible to the non-technical readers and the general audiences and creating highly precision maps. I have got extensive field experiences, including in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Philippines and the Netherlands As for my qualification is concerned, I got selected in ITC Excellence Scholarship Programme and acquired a Master of Science degree from the University of Twente where I conducted research to differentiate and locate the irrigated, rain-fed and water pump supplemented rice fields in core rice-growing area of the Philippines using remote sensing and GIS tools. In the University, I served as a Faculty Council Member for one year (Jan – Dec 2017), where I represented the faculty to execute the right to approval and advisory right to the Dean.
