I have experience working with non-profit organizations across the country. I enjoy connecting with individuals to raise awareness and funds for non-profit organizations. I have strong connections with many philanthropists. I am an experienced grant writer and have working relationships with grant entities. While working for the Office on Aging, I was responsible for writing, grant management and provided oversight to the Agencies on Aging across the state. I was also responsible for writing press releases and on many occasions was responsible for interviews with media outlets. I enjoy planning events to not only raise awareness, but funds for non-profits. Development is the lifeblood of non-profits and allows sustainability. My passion is in helping non-profit organizations grow and serve more individuals in the community. Non-profits make it possible to educate and serve when other agencies do not have the ability to do so.
