With more than a million dollars awarded to human service organizations, I can take the critically important work you are doing and package it to appeal to both the minds and the hearts of those with the agency or foundation to which you apply for funding. Writing grants is an art and a science and one I have chosen because I believe in the power of community and compassion. I work primarily with human service agencies ranging from homeless shelters to after-school programs to scholarships to mentoring and everything in between. I have also worked successfully with some other types of non-profits such as animal rescues and art displays. More than anything, I pair my abundance of passion with writing skill to empower you to do the work that helps make stronger communities and, ultimately, a stronger country for us all. I will provide you with an excellently-written proposal and I will accurately and passionately convey the mission and goals of your organization. I have applied and been awarded government grants, foundation grants, in-kind grants, religious-based grants, and capital grants. I am also available and experienced in other development and fundraising activities for non-profit organizations. Newsletters, direct appeal letters, press releases, social media, annual reports, letters of inquiry, letters of intent, and more are all well within my wheel-house and available to you to build a solid outreach and development plan for success. If you represent a for-profit business, I do offer proposals and other writing services for potential business-to-business opportunities or for those businesses who qualify for state and/or federal grant funds based on the work you do. Unfortunately, due to limited opportunities for grants from foundations or to start a business, I do not currently offer those services.
