I am a graphic designer with about 20 years experience in the field. While my background is in print design, I have been expanding my skills to front-end web design for the past couple of years - applying my design and artistic talents to those tasks as well. I have won several awards, including Best Ad Designer from the Annual Illinois Press Association Advertising Contest. I have taken home first place four times and second place twice, as well as several awards for individual advertisements in both print and web advertising. My software skills include a strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. In web design, my strengths are in XHTML and CSS3. I am growing in my familiarity with Bootstrap, jQuery and Javascript. Additionally, I have some experience with Drupal, and Wordpress. I am also a naturally talented freehand artist with experience using that talent professionally in the form of illustrations and print cartoons.
