I am an artist first and foremost. I work with mediums such as; pencil, charcoal, watercolor, pastel, and air brush. I started the path as a graphic designer when I discovered I could use a computer to enhance my art. I begin to study commercial art, graphic design, and marketing. I have over 20 years experience in this evolving industry. Graphic design to me is more than design something pretty, it is about communication and functionality. Each project I taken on requires me to grasp an understanding of my clients needs and goals. The results need not only catch the attention of the clients target audience, but be successful in producing the results intended. I use research, study industry competitors as well as what has worked in the past and what is currently trending to determine the route to take on each project. I use a combination of composition, typography, catchy statements, and color theory to attract the target audience. I also help the client to determine what they need to get the results they would like to achieve. I have worked solo, with a team, in fast paced enviroments, doing production art, as well as, commisioned design and consulting. I am very driven, with a strong focus on time management (meeting those deadline), effective strategic planning, and getting results.
