As a graduate from the School of Visual Arts with a B.F.A. degree, I
am a freelance illustrator and designer with over twenty-five years
experience, mostly in publishing. Some of my clients include Crain's New York, Xerox, and Money magazine. In 2000, I illustrated my first children’s book The Little Green House, published by Twins magazine.
As
for my art: My designs are clean and organized with a certain softness
to them. My illustrations are thought provoking and fun. Most pieces
begin with traditional media and end up on the computer. I love the
immediacy and visceral touch you get when working with pen and ink, but
for making color adjustments there is nothing like a computer.
Along with freelance work, I often teach at the college level.
