You've already put your hands on Jim's work - literally. Children's cups at Denny's, placemats at McDonalds, counter displays at Pizza Hut.... Jim has illustrated campaigns for a variety of national companies. Major magazines appreciate his clean-line, humorous style, as evidenced in issues of Nickelodean Magazine, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and Disney Adventures Magazine.
Jim enjoys illustrating books, especially children's books, where he can showcase his talent for fun, colorful backgrounds and character continuity. Jim appreciates deadlines.
What can illustrations do that photos can't? "Tell the story in the blink of an eye," Jim said, "You shouldn't have to read the copy to grasp the message, especially in magazines...the images must make you actually feel the message in an instant."
Although he has favorite styles of his own, Jim can customize to any client's needs. He's even been hired by The Cartoon Network and Disney to illustrate books in their respective styles.
