I am a professional artist that was traditionally trained as a fine artist portrait and still-life painter and a student of human anatomy. In 1989 I began working digitally. I continue to stay current with the technology of the day. That includes HTML 5, User Interface Design (UI) and of course User Experience (UX) that is something that I have done for years producing Flash websites and user navigation. I do most of my web work now using Adobe DreamWeave CC with it’s Cascading Style Sheets and make use of flexible grids. I have also started to hand code the new tags within HTML 5 to get up to date with it’s new and friendlier cross browser tags on Mac and PC. I was a full time employee of McGraw-Hill Publishing form 2008-2013. I was originally hired as an illustrator working for two publications, Aviation Week & Space Technology and Defense Technology International magazines. My responsibilities included illustrating inside book illustrations and covers for the magazines. I illustrated commercial and military aircraft, weapons systems and info graphics. Because of my background in Flash interactive animating I took it apron myself to find articles written by the authors and put them in into motion. My work was shown at a two day convention that McGraw-Hill holds in Washington DC and from how it was described to me it had jaw dropping results. I was then given the task of creating weekly Flash banners and interactive content displayed on the Aviation Week website. My work sold many page endorsements and was a big success for the company. In 2012 I was given the task of producing an application of the Paris Air Show. The application was to be displayed on the iPhone and iPad. I designed a layout of the airfield and the booths set up by all the major players of the commercial and military aviation industry. I illustrated the the airfield in 3D vector artwork accurately by using Google Satellite maps (i was given no diagrams and little help from
