There is no doubt that the coming period after the festive stage will not be the same as its predecessors at the level of the presidential elections. It seems that the opposition forces are currently intensifying their meetings, although their meetings did not stop during the previous period. There is also no doubt that the presidential election, which has been filled with a vacuum for more than six months, cannot be dealt with at present, as if it is a new or new vacuum, since half a year has passed since the vacancy and the absence of the president. In the face of all these challenges, a legitimate question is what is the opposition doing? A member of the Kataeb Representatives Bloc, Representative Elias Hanakash, confirmed to An-Nahar that "coordination did not stop between the blocs and the opposition forces. The consultation always stems from the sensitivity of the stage we have reached, which seems disastrous, day after day." Directing the question to the opposition does not absolve the other forces or the important parliamentary blocs from their responsibilities, especially if we accept the logic of the opposition, which is that these blocs are the ones who obstruct and put sticks in the wheels.
