I have had many learning lessons and first hand experience in attempting to obtain a truly stable job since 2007 when the economy took a down turn. The most important lesson was understanding that change can and will happen as it is the only constant in life, and when it does appear, eyes forward and feet on the ground have kept me walking toward the next goal. Here I sit again, downsized by a major corporation seeking new employment knowing that something will arise that will absolutely fit my current needs for employment. Ideally I seek a job that is diverse, forward thinking and holds great flexibility with the ability to work at home when needed. Being over 20 years in the job market since graduating college and now raising two children, these are an absolute must as I proceed to the next employer. After all in 2014, shouldn't we all be telecommuting a good part of our week or at least be working at a job we truly enjoy that is technology-driven, close to home so our commutes are minimal and time with the employer is truly efficient and productive with both employee and management working in sync? My strengths include a dedicated work ethic, a proven ability to learn quickly while handling a sizeable workload, a broad variety of work experience, along with effective written & verbal communication skills as well as an intense desire to succeed.
