Hello! I'm glad you've visited my profile and I hope that I can help in ways that fulfill your professional and creative needs. With a couple of Master's Degrees in English, a PhD on the way, seventeen years' worth of teaching experience (fifteen years in colleges), and plenty of creative work done on my own, I hope I am not too bold in calling myself a highly experienced reader, writer, and editor, and a good fit for a wide range of writing projects. While there are many highly competent writers and editors out there, I like to think I'm distinguished as one who keeps in mind that all of the writing we do should not only be "correct" but should also be an effective communication between individuals. Who do you want to affect in what way? How will we collaborate together in a genuine way to make that happen? These questions are as relevant for a short story manuscript as they they are for a academic article or a cover letter/resume combo. You want to affect someone somehow and I want to help you do that.
