My most current skills include analysis, design, coding and troubleshooting of enterprise-wide Version 2.3.1 and 2.4 HL7 interfaces and ELR Version 2.3.1 to 2.5.1 conversions. My analyst skills are in systems design, functional and technical writing, problem analysis and resolution and project management. Additional skills include analysis and data mapping of HL7 2.3 and 2.4 ADT and Clinical messages coming from the VA’s VistA system. I have worked with the eLink, Mirth Connect, Iguana and Rhapsody Interface Engines. I have acted as a technical resource for enterprise-wide IT interface initiatives. Designed, developed, tested, deployed and supported standard and non-standard HL7 interfaces in areas such as ADT, Orders, Results, Pharmacy, Transcription, etc. I have developed HL7 interfaces for various EMR, EHR and HIS systems as well as Physician Practice systems. My responsibilities have included providing 24x7 on-call support for multiple vendor systems interfaces. As part of my duties I have created and maintained interface architecture and procedure documentation including such artifacts as data analysis documents, Data mapping documents, requirements documents and Use Cases. I have prepared test plans and performed integration testing. Also analyzed the impact of, documented and performed successful software upgrades of various vendor packages.
