• Mellanox Certified infiniband Professional • Install, Configures and supports HPC systems (SGI/CRAY) and applications, including account administration, system administration, system optimization, hardware troubleshooting and end user support. • Supports server and workstation installation and support of applications (both user-written and third party/ISV). Specific CAE Applications to support include: o Dassault Abaqus o Altair Hyperworks Suite (Hypermesh, Radioss, Hyperview, etc) o Ansys Fluent o Safeworks Fe-Safe o Flowvision • Implements and manages queue (SLURM) systems. Perform HPC and storage system architecture analysis and design. • Analyzes, logs, tracks, resolves, implement HPC/CAE complex software/hardware matters of significance pertaining to networking connectivity issues, printer, servers, and applications to meet business needs. • Coordinates hardware/software installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with operating policies. • Recommends resolution to complex matters of significance and coordinates the implementation of the approved course of action. • Coordinates and monitors troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems; documents system events to ensure continuous functioning. • Coordinates testing, upgrades and configuration of system files and services. Ensures changes are in accordance with appropriate operating procedures; recommends revisions or changes based upon results. Prepares for and prescribes approaches to possible downstream implications. • Supports CAE and queuing software maintenance updates and hot fixes • Work directly with HW & SW vendors as needed. • Works with tool vendors to fix tool issues, and writes reports when necessary • Work with Dana IT as needed in support of user accounts, back-office applications, server, and network issues. • Execute data backup and disaster reco
