Hello. My name is Jamie Parker. I have a MBA in Healthcare Administration from Marshall University. My undergraduate degree comes from Ohio University in Healthcare Administration and Business.I have worked with one of the leading healthcare consulting groups in the nation, Parsons Corporation, as a Consultant for the Healthcare Equipment Planning division. In this position, we planned all equipment for new or remodel hospitals as well as, managed the project.Currently, I am the Director of Materiel Management at Norton Brownsboro Hospital which will open August 26, 2009. I have taken the skills I have learned at Parsons and completely applied them to managing this project and equipment list. I have formulated ,based on market research, the volume of supplies which will be needed.I left Parsons because my passion is in the hospital itself, I feel I have a greater impact on patients' lives. However, I do miss consulting so that is the reasoning I desire to help you.
