My name is Max Miles. I am an online designer/animator/developer with a focus in online advertising and rich media than spans over 8+ years. Originally hailing from Los Angeles I have had experience working at several gaming, entertainment, and advertising agencies. I am a self-trained hybrid designer/developer that has had the opportunity to work for myriad high-end creative professionals. From whiteboard to implementation, I have assisted in the creation of ads big and small and have the experience and foresight to not only know what design approach will work well within a canvas and responsive layouts, but also the technical skills to know what will pass Q.A. without question. Being a self-trained hybrid creative solutions expert, during the HTML5 migration for online ads I have rapidly adapted to Responsive Web Development (RWD), implementation and QA for full screen and varying ad formats. I am also a huge fan of story as well as relationship of elements and line of motion. I take on projects as my own not only to send home a message but to go above and beyond what is asked to make the experience as engaging as possible. If I can impress (or even surprise) myself and my colleagues then I know the user will probably engage as well. That is really the true joy of what I do. I have lengthy experience with Adobe products as well as the usual suspects HTML5/CSS/JS (including GSAP) and have worked at one time or another with just about every rich media vendor that is ever come to market.
