- Who could request a tax identification (NIF)?

 Everyone who lives in Portugal or abroad. Portuguese and foreign citizens.

 P.S. If you are a non-resident in Portugal, in general, you will need a tax representative.

 - Who could be a Tax Representative?

The tax representative needs to be a tax resident in Portugal. The tax representative will be the connection between you and the tax authority. Because of that, it is very important that you be careful when choosing your representative and opt for a professional and reliable service.

- What about the process? How long does it take?

Once you share all information and documents that I need, I will prepare your process and submit it to the Tax Authorities. After the submission, the NIF usually takes up 7 commercial days.
