-Around 8.5 years of professional experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using IBM Web Sphere DataStage 8.7/8.5/8.1/7.5, IBM Information Analyzer -Experience in designing Server, Parallel jobs and Job Sequencers. -Involved in Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support for variety of ETL related tasks on Data warehouses, ODS, Data Migration, Data Profiling and Cleansing, Data Harmonization and Survivorship. -Experience in analyzing Mainframe (fixed length, binary and EBCDIC) files and reading it using CFF stage or Sequential File stage. -Experience in designing jobs using Parallel Extender Partitioning and Pipelining techniques. -Experience in troubleshooting of DataStage Jobs and address production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement. -Having good problem solving skill and confident enough to come up with a feasible datastage design in challenging scenarios. -Skilled in DataStage programming for Data Warehouses (Schemas), proficient in Star Schema model and implementing Slowly Changing Dimensions. -Experience in integration of various data sources like Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2 UDB, SAP. -Proficiency in using Unix Shell Scripting to automate file manipulation, triggering DataStage job, file transfer, email notification etc. -Worked on Python Scripting and Awk scripting -Having good programming and analytical skill -Experience in Code Migration
