I love designing icons, a lot of my time is taken up by this sort of work. Iconography can be a tricky thing to do correctly, especially when creating a whole set. I create my icons based on a grid, in order to create a completely unified look. Some take me 20 minutes per icon whilst others can take up to a day each. It all depends on the level of complexity required. I create my icons in vector using illustrator.
