In Bali.. the first encounter

$20/hr Starting at $25

An adviser to the Indonesian president said on Friday that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the G20 summit on the island of Bali in November. This announcement means that Putin will be at a joint global summit, with the most prominent leaders of the Western world, who so often opposed him during the war in Ukraine. So the November summit will bring Putin together with his "most prominent opponents", such as Britain, the United States, Canada and France. It is not known what this meeting will be like, and whether it will look like "a coldness" during the meetings that hundreds of journalists from around the world will attend, but it will certainly be the focus of the world's attention. The meeting will be more "exciting" if Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accepts the invitation to attend the summit, which may mean his first meeting with the Russian president since the outbreak of war between the two countries. As this year's group chair, Indonesia has faced pressure from Western countries to withdraw its invitation to Putin over Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. Indonesian President Joko Widodo has sought to play the role of mediator between the two countries, and has traveled over the past months to meet with the Ukrainian and Russian presidents to call for an end to the war and to search for ways to alleviate the global food crisis. He said this week that the two countries had accepted Indonesia as a "bridge of peace".
