Highlighting a manuscript's best features - reorganizing chapters/sections to emphasize key themes, using words and placement that make the work cohesive and intriguing I basically act as "lead collaborator" and "reporter for hire" - helping to tell my client's story in the way he/she would if he/she had the time, editorial training and skills. The ideas presented in the books all belong to the client - not me. I merely facilitate the best possible presentation of those ideas. I have the ability to sift through a lot of out-of-order material, random thoughts, and chicken scratch, and make it the perfect linear read for the masses.
