Johan Marais has established himself as a knowledgeable technical leader that enjoys the respect of colleagues and subordinates. He has in-depth technical knowledge underpinned by a Masters degree in control systems and a recent cum laude Masters degree in Nuclear Engineering. This knowledge is extended by 20 years of design and development experience on high-tech projects. The technical background is augmented by management and leadership skills obtained through a Masters degree in business, as well as several years of leadership experience. He is a founding member of the South African chapter of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE).
