AXN|RXN is one part of the St. Paul Design and Engineering cooperative. Specializing in Product Design Engineering, AXN|RXN can bring your product concepts to life. Experience in plastic injection molding, thermo-forming, fiberglass, sheet metal, machining and welding, AXN|RXN can aid you with any project type you may have. As part of the cooperative, AXN|RXN has access to Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and CNC milling and lathe machining. It is owned and operated by Karl Biewald, P.E. Karl has four years of experience at two of the Midwest's largest design firms as well as two years experience in medical product design. Karl has recently joined the St. Paul cooperative to provide his skills to clients at rates lower than competing firms. Karl has produced successful designs for companies such as Briggs and Stratton, Analogic Corp., Johnson and Johnson, Wagner, Thermo-King, GE Medical, and many more.
