My interest in people, connecting the dots and building relationships underpin my work ethic, and my wealth of experience within the blogging world gives me an insider’s view to community building. During my time as Head of Influencer Marketing at SevenC3 I developed the company's product, proposition and positioning within the influencer marketing landscape after noticing a gap in the market for a better way of working with content creators, building meaningful relationships and campaigns based on the concept of sustainable influence. I was recognised as the lead specialist in influencer marketing strategy and activation across the C3 group, resulting in international pitches for our European and US offices, leading innovative campaigns and building engaged communities for global brands. In September 2017 I presented on behalf of SevenC3 as part of Social Media Week London on the issue of trust within influencer marketing, exploring the evolution of the industry and the harmful effects fraud, paid-for opinions and certain industry practices have had on the market. In November 2017 I was awarded the International Content Marketing Association Rising Star Silver Award for innovation within influencer marketing and the passion with which I brought an entirely new skillset to SevenC3. With extensive experience across all areas of influencer marketing and brand advocacy, from strategy and creative ideation to bespoke community building, influencer identification, outreach, activation, event management, leading international trips, international pitching and business development, I'm now consulting as a freelance Influencer Marketing and Brand Advocacy Strategist.
