Investigation into the elbow on Andy Robertson
The PGMOL refereeing body will look into allegations that assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis clashed with Liverpool FC defender during the 2-2 match against Arsenal at Anfield on Easter Sunday.
After the 29-year-old visibly got upset, he and some of his teammates spoke to referee Paul Tierney, who then gave him a yellow card.
yellow card.
In a statement, Professional Game Match Officials Limited said it was "aware of an incident involving assistant referee Constantine Hatzidakis and Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson at half-time of the Liverpool v Arsenal match at Anfield."
They added that they intended to "examine the case in its entirety".
Experts have expressed mixed opinions on Andy's reaction to the alleged incident, which could not work in his favour as Fulham player Aleksandar Mitrovic is serving an eight-match suspension for shoving referee Chris Kavanagh during the March 19 FA Cup defeat to Manchester United.
