The Iraqi Muhammed Hassan Jalloud won the presidency of the International Weightlifting Federation, in the elections that were held today in Albania.
Jalloud is the first Arab to head the International Weightlifting Federation in its history.
Jalloud received great support from the heads of Arab federations, led by Muhammad Al-Manea, head of the Asian and Qatari Weightlifting Federations.
The elections of the International Federation witnessed strong competition and a large presence of representatives of the national federations
